Learning to Board and Ski is a Pleasure at BBMR

Ski and Snowboard Schools at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain offer lessons that are fun, laid back, and meet your needs at any level. Take advantage of professionally taught lessons for all ages with teaching that centers on individual attention.

For beginners, instructors focus on keeping your experience simple and exciting while helping you develop confidence and skills. Your instructor will guide you on a self-paced progression, designed to make learning fun and easy, working with you until you grasp a command of the skill. A quick base-area learning session familiarizes beginning students with their new gear before riding the moving carpet or chair lift, which slows to a crawl for loading and unloading.

At any level of proficiency, your instructor will show you how to blend your personal capabilities with the requirements of negotiating the mountain.

BBMR offers free skiing and riding to guests on their birthdays. Simply present a valid photo I.D. on the day of your actual birthday only to the Guest Services Office.

Half-Day Getaway Program

Ski or ride all morning and leave in time to get home by early afternoon – with some real savings! Guests can receive a credit voucher* for up to $15 ($19 during holiday periods and peak weekends) if they turn in their all-day lift ticket by 1:00 p.m. Voucher amount varies based on price of lift ticket.

Kids 6 and Under are Free

Bring the whole family for a day of skiing and riding, and those six and under are free with a paying adult.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If for any reason, a guest is not satisfied with his or her day of skiing or riding, turn in your lift ticket to the Guest Services Office within 75 minutes of issuance to receive a voucher* for another day. Vouchers are good for any future date, but you must make reservations for a weekend or holiday prior to the resorts being sold out and pay any differences in ticket prices.
